Hey Adam, I'm one of the students in MADE 5.0 this year. We started our podcast project and we we're wonding if you were interested in being interviewed. We understand that you're a new dad and we totally understand if you're unable to do this but we would greatly appreciate it if you could. Our topic we would be interviewing you about is wherther it is possible to determine whether art is good or bad. If you are interrested in the interview please contact me and we can setup a date and time to conduct the interview

Hello Mr Bowman

I found you on-line checking into musicians who play at Manhattans. My man and I hold Manhattans dear to our heart and enjoy it thoroughly. To get to the point...I love the pieces I have heard you play in and Im wondering if it is out of the question...or even possible to ask if you would consider playing at our wedding. Or how much you would charge for that? My father in law is an amazing bass guitarist and there are other very musically talented family members attending..I know they would really enjoy live music and your style.
If you could me know if this is even an option I would appreciate it. Trying to put everything together. The wedding is July 7th, 2018.
Thank you
Natalie Marx

Good afternoon,

I am a Child and Youth Worker from Give Yourself Credit, in Guelph. It is an alternative high- school site, with students ranging in age from 16-21. We were just wondering if you did workshops, and would be willing to come to our site so the kids would have the opportunity to see you play, and potentially try it for themselves. Please let us know if this is something you would be interested in, as well as if you have any questions. Thank you in advance.

we heard you guys at manhattons last week and ask about you playing at our wedding December 8, 2017. You said you were booked. Any way we could bribe you into changing your other plans? We would really like you to play! If not do you know someone else that would be similar?

Thanks and I am hopeful that you will reconsider our request!

Hi Adam,
This a long shot,
Would you be available to play on July 1, a backyard party, early eve, 34 mostly old covers with 300 Degrees. Remember us from ages ago?

We had a disappointing rehearsal with a fill-in drummer last night.

Hi, btw 😊

Hi Adam,

This is Racy from the MADE 4.0 group, we have an event coming up called SPEAK! where a bunch of students will be presenting speeches, similar to a TED talk, but only 5 minutes per student. The event will be held on Thursday, March 23rd, doors will open at 6:30pm and the show will start at 7:00pm. It will be held in the aud of the GYMC, and cost is free of charge for you and a plus one. If you can make it or have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Space is limited so it would be helpful if you could let us know if you can come ASAP. We would love to see you there!

Thank you,

Hi Adam.. Janine Stoll passed along your name. My husband and I are looking for a drummer for our band Whitehorse. We're holding auditions next month and we'd love to play with you! Let me know if you're interested at all and I can send you some tracks. Thanks :)

Hey Adam,

I saw you at the river run centre, performing with Gary Diggins and the crew. Such a heartwarming story you all told! I could tell you were really listening to one another, and that is always a treat to witness. I recently met with him, and he mentioned you do percussive workshops in schools, etc, with kids. I'm working with the two Rivers neighborhood group, and we just started talking about doing a bucket drumming class at our home base, which is tytler school on ontario street. Would you be interested in collaborating, or at least meeting and offering us some advice?

I look forward to seeing you again, in whatever context; performing, collaborating, or at dance class!

Yours, Jesse gARTh

Hey Adam,

Stacey Shopsowitz let me know about you when I mentioned I was looking for a cajun/percussion player.

I'm producing a project for an acoustic artist named, Cory F. I'm looking to book a percussionist for one rehearsal day and one studio recording day.

Let me know what payment can potentially work for you. I budgeted $150 for the percussionist.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Tuesday, September 20th, 2016Mary Leach

Hello, Adam.

My name is Mary Leach and I am teaching music to the Grade 7 and 8s this year at Willow Road PS. We are starting bucket drumming in class (and working with Olivier Cutz's book). Kelly Bowman, Karen Johnson, and Dan Austin have all said I need to connect with you! I think our students would love to have you come in. I know traditionally you've done extra curricular clubs, but I was wondering if there was someway for you to do some sort of workshop with our intermediate students (not in an extracurricular capacity) over a day or two, ... or something. We have 7 classes. I'm not sure how it would work (or if it's even possible for you to do given your schedule), but I thought I'd connect to see what possibilities are available (if any). I think our students would find you incredibly inspiring.

Thanks so much,

Friday, March 4th, 2016Brendon Barber

Good Morning Adam,

My name is Brendon Barber and I received your name from my colleague Candice Edwards. I'm a Residence Life Coordinator at Brock University and we're just inquiring about the opportunity to collaborate with you on a teambuilding through music workshop for our student staff. We have a group of 76 19-24 year olds and we're trying to put something together for March 20, 2016. I know it's a quick turnaround, but I thought I'd reach out to see what your availability, interest, and the cost of something like that.

I can be reached by email at if you have more questions or any thoughts on this.
Thanks and have a great day!

Friday, December 4th, 2015Jenn Tan

Hi Adam,

I hope you’re doing well. My name is Jenn Tan and I was a part of the Urban Arts (MADE) program last June where I was able to be a part of your bucket drumming classes. I am a huge supporter in what you do and love your music. This year, I am a part of a program called Beyond Borders which is a business-oriented experiential learning program located at the Guelph Youth Music Centre as well. I am writing to you in hopes of having you and Alysha Brilla perform at our charity event: ONE.

On January 16, 2016 taking place at 6:00 PM at the River Run Centre in Guelph, Beyond Borders will be hosting an elegant multicultural event. All proceeds will be going towards Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS) at Mount Sinai Hospital. ONE is an event that strives to promote the coming together of our community and is a celebration of the diversity in our world. The night will include an array of cultural foods in addition to various performances which will reflect our focus of exposing the community to a variety of cultures.

If you do think there is a shared interest, we would be honoured by the opportunity to speak with you at a time of your convenience. We appreciate your consideration and are looking forward to hearing from you! You can email me back or call me at or 226 820 0919.

Kind Regards,
Jenn Tan

hI Adam,

Aaron Duncan here. We have met a few times and played together a few times. I hired you to play with Dan Austin @Wallys once, did a Royal city gig with you, and jammed with you at Manhattens and at Rickson Ridge Public School about a year ago.

I would like to hire you for an original musical going to stage at the river run February 14-20. If I am lucky enough to have that be a downtime in your schedule, I would love to have a chance to talk you into it. My phone is 519 8247262, I may give you a shout later.
Thanks a lot and 8 hope things are well.

HI Adam,

I am looking into getting entertainment for our bi-annual Dealer Market and was wondering if you would be willing/available to do a bucket drumming performance? The date is Sunday September 20th.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Wednesday, June 10th, 2015Tannis

Are you still doing your funk bucket workshops? A Friend of mine wants to know.

Tuesday, May 26th, 2015Jess Passmore

Hey Adam -
I pitched your bucket drumming to our Market chair who looks for a neat and unique way to greet our dealers (store owners) as they enter the show in the morning. We have previously had cheer leaders, drum corps, aerial silk artists etc. We need something new and I thought if you had a group playing the drums on HH buckets lined up the entrance it would be fun. Do you have a video clip of what that would sound like? Any videos on this site aren't quite what I was hoping to share with her.
Let me know - email at work is best, or call 519-664-2252 x6430.

I need your address for Thursday's cheques?

Hello Adam

I am currently studying music pedagogy at the University of Guelph (graduating soon), and am required to interview a music educator as part of a research paper. I am very interested in how teaching music through the body and using improvisation can help to improve musicianiship and even enjoyment.
I wonder if you would be willing and interested in participating in an interview? I thought it might be relevant and extra special, too, to interview you alongside Georgia Simms, and perhaps even sit-on on one of your improvisation sessions.
I want to get working on this paper next week - it is due the second week in April. The interview I imagine would only take an hour or so.

Please consider, and let me know your thoughts.

Warmest regards,

Mercedes (the lady from th Cornerstone 😉)

Hi Adam, my name is Chris Seto and I'm a reporter with the Guelph Mercury newspaper. We would like to write a profile piece about you, in relation to your two Juno nominations. Ideally, we would like to meet up with you to shoot a photo or two to run with the article, and have a quick interview. I imagine you might be pretty busy in the run up to the awards night, but if you have a bit of time available between now and next Thursday, please let me know. We would like to have a profile of you written for our paper on Saturday, March 14. Please let me know what you think. Thanks.

Hello Adam,
We had fun listening to you at Salsateria on Wednesday and it has been great having you play at our dance classes..sorry we can't keep the beat as well as you!
Gordon and I are having a big party August 6th. It is a garden music festival. We have a few friends that are quite good musicians in jazz, blues, some funk, rock and even a bit of classical..a real mixed bag. We have asked them to play a few things of their choice and then I'm sure it will just become a jam session on the deck and into the evening. We are still looking for a drummer and it would be sweet to have a sax player. So...might you and your band (or even a couple of its members) be interested? If so, le me know your fees etc...The party is August 6th, outdoors weather permitting, starting around 4pm, musicians would set up sometime between 4-6 - very casual and into the night. If it is raining, we can open up the sunroom which looks onto the deck to protect the instruments (and musicians!). Let me know and thanks again, Hopefully this can work out!
